The Baltz Hiking Day 2025 on the Rothaarsteig presents a concise hiking experience on a certified Wanderbares Deutschland quality trail. After initial refreshments, the route begins in Winterberg-Grönebach and explores the charming landscapes of the region. The Grönebacher Dorfpfad leads from the village center along the historic Königsstraße towards the Gerichtslinde. Along the edge of the forest, far-reaching views of the surrounding valley landscape open up. The path runs through the characteristic Hachmecke valley, always following a stream, down into the Hilletal. Here the path meets the historic railroad embankment of a former narrow-gauge railroad. Following the embankment, you pass the Hillebrücke bridge with its staggered round arches. The route leads along an easily accessible grass path, which offers views of the village, through an old hollow path to the Antoniusstein. A final ascent leads to the Egge viewpoint, which is the highest point on the Grönebacher Dorfpfad. The trail then descends back to the village. At the end of the hike, there is an opportunity to stop for refreshments in Willingen. This tour integrates nature highlights and offers a refreshment stop to round off the experience.
