Sauerland, Siegerland-Wittgenstein, Lahn-Dill-Bergland – three powerful regions, which are linked by the Rothaarsteig
The Rothaarsteig is situated in one of the most beautiful forested mountain landscapes in Germany. It extends from the northern fringe of the Rothaargebirge mountains across the Lahn-Dill mountain country of Hessen to the outlying reaches of the Westerwald forest. The two endpoints of the Rothaarsteig are formed by Brilon in the Sauerland and Dillenburg in Hessen.
